Night Life in San Francisco

While visiting the beautiful city of San Francisco, California, you might wonder if there is anything to do during the later hours of the night. There are plenty of nightclubs and bars that are scattered across the city that are all open till the early morning hours.

Here are a couple of unique nightclubs that are sure to leave exciting and longlasting memories.

The first club option of the night is Audio. It is said that Audio is one of the best mid-sized dance clubs in the world. In 2014, Audio SF was awarded “Best New Club”  by SF Weekly’s Reader’s Poll Awards, was given “Best Sound Venue” by the 2014 Nitey Awards, and are continuing to impress the public. Inside Audio, there is an extensive sound system that features a 32-inch subwoofer and an EVO6 speaker and its 21-inch subwoofer. The only other nightclub to have a 32-inch subwoofer included with their sound system is Output, which is located in New York City, but their speaker hasn’t been introduced to the public just yet.

Audio is open every Friday and Saturday from 9:30 pm until 2:00 am.

The next club/lounge duo on the hitlist for the night is Monarch. When you visit Monarch, you will be surprised to know that on the main and upper floors there is a bar and an upstairs lounge, and within the basement, there is a dance club. The Monarch Bar is very distinguished and features decorative pieces that resemble Victorian, Art Nouveau, and Steampunk designs. Within the bar is also a photo booth that guests are encouraged to use to capture the memories being made during the visit.

The basement bound nightclub is decked out with a state of the art sound system.

Bars & Restaurants

Here are just a couple of the many highly-rated, late night bars and restaurants in the San Francisco area to visit either before or after a night of partying.

The first establishment is a bar named Bourbon & Branch. Bourbon & Branch is a speakeasy that gives its patrons a glimpse at what life was like during Prohibition. There are a set of house rules in place to make the environment more authentic and give patrons a taste of what it’s like attending a speakeasy. Bourbon & Branch is open every Monday through Sunday from 10:00 pm until

If you’re looking for a place to grab a bite to eat that has fast service and good craft beers, then The Grubstake is the perfect spot for you after a long night of fun. Featuring eleven different burgers, seven different sandwiches, salads, side dishes, and even an off the grill section that includes pork chops, steak, surf & turf, and more. The Grubstake also features a small Portuguese cuisine menu that lists dishes such as Caldo Verde Soup, grilled garlic prawns served with potatoes and veggies (called Camarão Com Molho de Alho), eggs and linguica served with toast and french fries (called Ovos com Linguiça) and much more.
